The Philadelphia Coaches versus Cancer are hosting an AAU -Tourney in Philadelphia on April 28 and 29. This event is sanctioned by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and the letter is on file with Sandra Parrott of the NCAA. Division I coaches can attend. The games will take place at Temple University's Student Pavilion and Pierson Hall (Mc Gonigle Hall).

In addition, that Saturday evening is the Coaches (and wives) Black Tie Gala. They will be honoring a "Founding Father" of Coaches versus Cancer and 2007 National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee, Norm Stewart. The cost of the affair is $300 per person. Coaches are encouraged not only to come to Philadelphia for the weekend, but also to bring their spouses for the gala Saturday evening. Coaches who come to the event will receive the tourney pass and roster book at no cost.
