NABC Convention

Most NABC members have the opportunity to purchase Final Four® tickets. In addition, members registered for the Convention will have access to accommodations in the official NABC hotel properties.

 NABC Meetings and Clinics

Attend a variety of meetings for divisions, conferences and committees during the NABC Convention including numerous coaching clinics presented by the nation’s finest coaches.

NABC MARKETPLACE

The NABC MARKETPLACE is a three-day (Thursday-Saturday) business and networking event for all members. Connect with the exhibitors that have the products and services your program needs.

Professional Development Series (PDS)

PDS clinics are held throughout the NABC Convention and cover topics concerning various aspects of our profession, including coaching development, ethics and personal development. Member coaches can receive official PDS certification and the opportunity to earn continuing education college credit during the NABC Convention.

NABC Welcome Reception

The official “tip off” of the NABC Convention, this outstanding event is an opportunity to meet and greet coaches and friends in a festive atmosphere with food, drink and entertainment.

NABC Senior College All-Star Game

Played on Friday following practices by the Final Four® teams on the Final Four® floor for the past three seasons, the game features 20 of the top senior collegiate players in the nation. The teams are coached by some of the nation’s most outstanding college coaches, past and present.

Guardians of the Game Awards Show

Presented on Sunday evening, the Awards Show is the THE BIG NIGHT for the top coaching and player awards in all of men’s college basketball. In addition to coach and player of the year awards in each division, the Big Man and Defensive Player of the Year awards are presented along with the prestigious NABC Guardians of the Game Pillar Awards for Education, Leadership, Advocacy and Service

 

Awards & Recognition

The NABC offers numerous awards for its members.  Only NABC members are eligible to nominate, vote and receive these awards.

Guardians of the Game Pillar Awards are the most prestigious awards presented by the NABC. Member coaches are eligible to receive these Guardians awards in the categories of education, leadership, service and advocacy.

Merit Awards are presented to coaches who have 15 years of NABC membership.

Honor Awards are presented to member coaches at significant career milestones, beginning at 300 wins and at each 100 level beyond that.

Coach of the Year Awards are presented on a national basis for junior colleges, NAIA Divisions I and II, and NCAA Divisions I, II and III. In addition, member coaches in the NCAA Divisions are eligible for coach of the year awards in each of their NABC Districts.

Champion Awards are presented to coaches annually for their outstanding contributions to Coaches vs. Cancer and for excellence in literacy programs through the NABC Committee on Academics.

NABC Honors Court recognizes student-athletes for outstanding academic achievement during their junior and senior seasons.

Hillyard Champions Luncheon, NABC member coaches who have led their collegiate teams to regular season conference championships are invited to attend the Hillyard Champions Luncheon. Each championship coach is recognized individually at the Hillyard Champions Luncheon.
