MEN’S HEAD BASKETBALL COACH - Morehead State University
Morehead State University, recognized as one of the top public universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report, is accepting applications for a full-time, fixed-term position as Men’s Head Basketball Coach in the Office of Athletics.
Responsibilities: The Men’s Head Basketball Coach is responsible for the organization, direction, and administration of the men’s basketball program, including the implementation and maintenance of standards of academic and athletic excellence. The Head Coach must have a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with the rules, regulations and policies of Morehead State University and the NCAA and Ohio Valley Conference.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and coaching or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance issues concerning the administration of intercollegiate athletics.
Desired Qualifications: Master's degree. Collegiate coaching experience (preferably at the Division I level). Excellent communications and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to recruit student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic success.
