We run an offense to get post play. We don't run an offense to get perimeter
shots. We want the shots we can make in the most tense situations. We
tell them exactly what shots we want them to take. They must make a
shot seven of ten times every day in practice in order to take it in
the game.
I don't think I
have used the principal of over learning enough, especially to correct
old habits. We must be in shape! Running is very important to our post
play. We want to run on the command, "Ball". We need to run better without
the ball, we must work to develop the glue that will keep us doing the
things that we have to do to win under stress.
