Launch 1-3-1 Attack Vs. Zone Defense

Best offense against the zone defense is to fast-break them before the players can get into their set positions. Never be reluctant in taking the unforced jump shot, regardless of zone or man defense. The offensive team will have much better chance of getting the offensive rebound when you have the advantage of 2-on-1, 3-on-2, etc., than against your regular set patterns.

Our only initial change from our high post offensive setup being to place the center (#5) deep and move #4 to the high post and rotate #2 and #1 on the dribble.
