Kentucky Wesleyan’s Anthony Young Leads West All-Stars
Past East All-Stars in Reese’s Division II College All-Star Game
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (March 23, 2012) – Kentucky Wesleyan’s Anthony Young scored 21 points and hit five three-point goals to help lift the West All-Stars past the East All-Stars, 120-110, in the Reese’s® Division II All-Star game Friday night at The Bank of Kentucky Center.
Raymont McElroy of West Virginia Wesleyan also scored 21 points while Taylor Rhode of Alaska-Anchorage added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the West, which led 56-42 at the half.
Eckerd’s Lance Kearse paced the East with 24 points with P.J. Reyes of Charleston (WV) scoring 22 points.
Friday’s game was played during the NCAA® Division II Men’s Basketball Championship at Northern Kentucky University.
